# EO Backup Account Signup
-  Navigate to [SSO](sso:) to begin signup.
- *Email*: Type your email and click **Sign up**.
- *Password*: Follow the on-screen instructions for setting up a secure password. Click **Register**.
- *Email Verification*: You will receive a verification email from *noreply@eobackup.com*. Click the link in the email in order to proceed to the next step.
- *Profile details*: You will need to provide your personal details for your account. Click **Next** once complete.
- *Two-factor authentication (2FA)*: Follow the on-screen instructions for setting up your account 2FA.
- *Recovery code*: A recovery code will be displayed. You will need this code to recover your account if you lose access to your 2FA device.
- *Register new card*: You will now be redirected to [payment.eobackup.com](https://payment.eobackup.com) to register a payment method for your account. Once completed, click **Continue**

You have now successfully signed up for an EO Backup Account.
