# Request a Veeam Backup for Salesforce license quote
If you require a Veeam Backup for Salesforce license, you can request a custom quote through the Portal.

Please note, you can request a Veeam Backup for Salesforce license without having an EO Backup for Salesforce service.

1.  Go to the Salesforce Backup Licenses page in [Portal](portal:sf/licenses)
2.  Click **Request a quote**\

3.  Complete the request form as follows:
    -   *Environment name*: This will be the name used to identify your Salesforce License.
    -   *Contract length*: This determines the expiry date of your Salesforce Backup license.
    -   *Users:* This is the maximum number of users that the license will cover.
4.  Once you have confirmed the form details, click **Submit.**
5.  A ticket will be created for your request that will be looked at by a member of staff. You will be able to see the progress on the [Tickets page.](portal:support/tickets)
